Required Skills: •This position is open for external candidates only to apply. •This position will be filled at either the R&D Engineer 1 or 2 level, depending on the skills of the selected candidate. Additional job responsibilities (outlined below) will be assigned if the candidate is hired at the higher level. •The successful candidate will apply fundamental engineering and manufacturing principles to evaluate, develop, and improve manufacturing processes across a variety of materials and production environments. Additionally, this role will contribute to building organizational capability through training development and technical knowledge sharing. Qualifications: •Solid functional working knowledge of engineering fundamentals and their application within a manufacturing or production environment. •Operational familiarity with a range of manufacturing processes or systems (e.g., machining, fabrication, assembly, additive manufacturing, or related areas). •Demonstrated capacity to apply engineering principles to analyze problems, identify solutions, and support process improvements. •Operational familiarity with interpreting engineering drawings and technical requirements, including basic understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). •Manufacturing & Process Support •Understanding of design for manufacturability, production, or process development concepts. •Demonstrated capacity to support the development, evaluation, or improvement of manufacturing processes, systems, or workflows. •Exposure to manufacturing operations, inspection methods, or production environments is desirable. •Demonstrated capacity to assist in evaluating new tools, technologies, equipment, or processes to enhance manufacturing capability. •Training & Capability Development Compensation: •$96,600 - $158,000 / year •PPO or High Deductible medical insurance with the same large nationwide network Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
