Hiring: Quality Technician Company: Giga Energy Location: Long Beach, CA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 14:45:48 Employment Type: Full-time About the job Experience: •2+ years of experience in quality control, inspection, or shipping & receiving in a manufacturing environment Required Skills: •Inspect incoming materials, components, and subassemblies against purchase orders, drawings, and quality specifications •Perform outgoing quality checks on finished products prior to shipment, verifying documentation, labeling, and packing requirements are complete and accurate •Accurately receive, log, and stage inbound shipments in ERP/inventory management systems •Coordinate and process outbound shipments including freight scheduling, packaging, and carrier management •Identify, tag, and quarantine non-conforming materials and initiate NCR documentation as required •Communicate material discrepancies or quality issues to procurement, engineering, and operations teams in real time •Maintain accurate inventory records and support cycle count processes •Support internal audits and quality documentation efforts Qualifications: •Solid functional working knowledge of inspection tools including calipers, gauges, and torque verification equipment •Strong documentation skills with high attention to detail •Knowledge of freight processes, BOLs, and carrier coordination •High school diploma or equivalent •Operational familiarity with hazmat or international shipping requirements •Prior experience in a high-growth startup or fast-paced manufacturing environment Compensation: •Subsidized health, dental, and vision insurance Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
