Hiring: Quality Process Engineer - 3rd Shift Company: GE Vernova Location: Schenectady, NY Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 10:42:55 Target Skills & Keywords : Assembly, Root Cause Analysis, Six Sigma About the job Experience: •1-2 years of experience in Manufacturing Quality •2 years of experience in Manufacturing Quality •5+ years of experience in Manufacturing Quality Required Skills: •Quality Management •Own and manage internal manufacturing and process quality, ensuring compliance with specifications and requirements. •Drive containment actions for non-conforming materials to prevent disruption to manufacturing operations. •Partner with manufacturing teams to protect production flow and reduce quality escapes. •Lead structured problem-solving activities (8D, DMAIC, Root Cause Analysis) for internal process driven defects. •Ensure timely implementation and effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). •Drive systemic fixes to prevent recurrence and reduce defect rates. •Zero Defect & Built-In Quality Deployment Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with 1-2 years of experience in Manufacturing Quality •OR High School Diploma / GED with 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing Quality •3rd Shift hours are 11PM-7AM EST** •Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma certification (Green/Black Belt). •Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills. •Strong oral and written communication skills. •Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. •Demonstrated capacity to document, plan, market, and execute programs. •Generator assembly, disassembly, or overhaul experience. •GE Vernova offers a great work environment, professional development, challenging careers, and competitive compensation.
