Required Skills: •Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) programs, procedures, and inspections for fabrication and erection activities. •Review and update quality manuals, inspection checklists, and procedures to align with project requirements, codes, and industry standards. •Conduct inspections of Mass timber (CLT, glulam, NLT, DLT) installation, fabrication shops, materials, and job sites to ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and quality standards. •Perform internal audits and quality reviews, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions as needed. •Review shop drawings, erection plans, and material documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance prior to fabrication and installation. •Coordinate with fabrication, erection crews, and project management to resolve quality issues and prevent reoccurrence. •Identify, document, and track non‑conformance issues related to fabrication, materials, or installation. •Interface directly with project teams to develop corrective and preventive actions and verify effective resolution. Qualifications: •High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical or quality certifications preferred (CWI, NDT, ICC). •Strong knowledge of Mass timber, structural steel fabrication, erection processes, drawings, and specifications. •Demonstrated capacity to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and material certifications. •Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem‑solving abilities. •Willingness and ability to travel extensively to fabrication shops and job sites. •Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with quality management systems is a plus. •Sure Steel, Inc. is an equal opportunity organization.
