Required Skills: •Quality Manager understands the principles of the product and control methodologies to maintain a stable manufacturing process that produces a product that conforms to the customer's expectations. •The development and operation of the quality control system. •The application and analysis of testing and inspection procedures. •The ability to use metrology and statistical methods to diagnose and correct improper quality control practices. •The understanding of human factors and motivation. •The understanding of Variation Reduction to continuously improve the outgoing quality level of the product. •The knowledge and ability to develop and administer management information systems. •The ability to audit quality systems for deficiency identification and correction. Qualifications: •An ASQ certified Quality Engineer for positions involving hardware or an ASQ certified Software Quality Engineer for positions involving software. Previous experience is APQP and PPAP is required. •Applied hands-on capability in precision grinding operations and Manufacturing processing •Applied hands-on capability in sophisticated measurement equipment.. Programming experience on such equipment is a plus. •B.S. degree in Engineering and Business Operations, Quality. Advanced coursework preferred.
