Hiring: Quality Manager Company: Actalent Location: Green Bay, WI Job Posted Time: 2026-09-16 11:32:21 Employment Type: On-site Target Skills & Keywords : Quality Assurance, R, Root Cause Analysis, Six Sigma About the job Required Skills: •Lead the Quality Team consisting of an Engineer, Claims Analyst, Specialist, Incoming Inspector, and 16 Technicians, setting expectations and providing performance feedback. •Establish and oversee raw material incoming inspection activities and vendor claims and corrective action process. •Manage daily operations of two QC laboratories; ensure testing is conducted and reported with accuracy and precision. •Lead internal training on quality standards and expectations. •Lead disposition decisions for nonconforming materials. •Report on quality performance; review customer claims for trends and improvement opportunities. •Conduct statistical analysis to drive decisions and priorities. •Lead problem-solving using root cause analysis methodologies such as 8D, 5-Why, and Fishbone analysis. Qualifications: •BS Degree in Chemistry, Paper Science, Materials Science, Engineering or related field •5 plus years of Leadership experience within Quality •The position operates within a day shift schedule but involves overseeing rotating crews across a 24/7 operation. This includes managing both Technician and exempt employees. •This is a Permanent position based out of Green Bay, WI.
