Required Skills: •Plans, coordinates, and directs a department responsible for quality control programs designed to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established standards. •Identify, analyze, and develop improvements in throughput, productivity, quality, client relationships, and customer service. •Lead cross-functional teams in the execution and reporting of quality improvement projects with a focus on overall process improvements, scrap reduction and supplier quality improvement. •Directly supervises quality team members. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, development, and evaluation of the department. •Lead and oversee evaluation and resolution of customer/supplier quality issues. •Develop and implement the Quality Management System to support the growth of the Company. •Manage annual AS9100 certification surveillance or recertification audits. •Continuous reporting of the status of the Quality System to proactively address the organizations Quality needs. Qualifications: •Bachelor of Science in a business-related field. •7-10 years’ experience in quality assurance and 1-2 years management experience. •Extensive knowledge and training in ISO/AS. •Strong attention to detail, organizational, time management and follow-up skills. •Read/Interpret requirements from Engineering drawings, Engineering change notices or established operating procedures •Minimum of 5 years in Aerospace Manufacturing environment preferred. •Knowledge Skills Abilities And Other Contributions •AS9100 or ISO9001 Quality/Business Management System.
