In this high-impact position, you will guide quality assurance strategy across large-scale projects -ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance, and performance. •Report to the Director of APX Quality, Environment, Health and Safety and be located at Cranberry Township, PA or Rock Hill, SC. The position is hybrid; you will be on site 2 days per week. •Partner with project teams within the APX Delivery organization to embed quality throughout the full project lifecycle from bid and proposal development through execution and delivery. This includes preparing QEHS inputs for proposals, leading the AP1000 quality assurance programs, and ensuring implementation across all project phases. •Lead the quality assurance scope for assigned projects, including developing quality and EHS cost estimates for bids and proposals, and managing project risks. •Develop a team of QA engineers responsible for a broad range of quality assurance and oversight activities, including implementation and continuous improvement of the Westinghouse Quality Management System, project quality plans, and procedures. •Be the Project Quality Lead for early phases of AP1000® projects, participating in design reviews and leading internal audits, surveillances, and self-assessments. •Ensure QA personnel are trained with project and organizational performance goals. •Develop and manage the annual department budget, ensuring alignment with financial targets and responsible cost control Qualifications: •BS Degree or equivalent engineering or technical •8 plus years of quality assurance experience in positions of increasing responsibility •Broad knowledge of quality assurance regulations, codes and standards •Knowledge of engineering, manufacturing, fabrication, and testing •Demonstrated capacity to travel internationally as projects require (up to +/- 25% for peak times) •ASQ CMQ/OE certification, ISO/NQA-1 Certified Lead Auditor (optional) •Solid functional working knowledge of U.S. commercial nuclear power regulations, e.g., 10CFR50 Appendix B, ASME NQA-1, ASME B&PV Code, ANSI, 10CFR21, and comparable international regulations and standards (including ISO 9001 and ISO 19443) is preferred.
