Hiring: Quality Manager Company: Barrett Petfood Location: Brainerd, MN Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 14:03:22 Employment Type: Full-time Target Skills & Keywords : Pest, Quality Assurance About the job Required Skills: •Oversee the Quality Assurance team and manage all quality-related departmental activities •Manage and maintain quality systems, ensuring adherence to QA policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements •Develop, implement, and continuously improve the SQF system across the organization •Lead SQF training initiatives and ensure all departments are trained and compliant with food safety standards •Serve as the primary point of contact for pest control and chemical service providers •Conduct and manage internal audits; prepare for and lead customer and regulatory audits •Address and manage significant quality holds that may result in product loss, including investigation, documentation, and corrective actions •Write, review, and maintain quality policies, procedures, and documentation Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree in food science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field (or equivalent experience) •Previous experience in a quality management role within food or pet food manufacturing •Strong working knowledge of SQF and food safety regulations •Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills •So, what do you think?
