The Quality Inspector will use basic mechanical inspection tools and gauges to ensure a successful product line. •Inspects incoming raw materials and components for conformance verification of traceability to existing inspection plans, customer/VMC drawings, sales and purchase orders •Initiate and manage the MRB (Material Review Board) process •Inspects the integrity of the product to the order with respect to dimensions, correct components, color, etc. •Randomly samples the ‘in process product’ to ensure specifications and dimensional checks •Identifies manufactured products that do not meet quality specifications •Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste •Ensures final product meets the specific customer order Qualifications: •Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and Word •Solid functional working knowledge of calibration of gauges and ability to use calipers, height gauges, thread gauges, etc. •Demonstrated capacity to read and interpret blueprints and apply knowledge to inspection of products •Knowledge of ANSI Y14.5 symbology •Proven verbal and written communication skills •Self-starter with an independent work approach •Excellent organizational skills with ability to frequently re- prioritize •High School diploma or GED •Health, dental and vision insurance Compensation: •Health, dental and vision insurance Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
