Hiring: Quality Engineer Company: Form Energy Location: Weirton, WV Job Posted Time: 2026-09-03 14:22:52 Employment Type: Full-time Target Skills & Keywords : Change Management, Product Development Lifecycle, R About the job Experience: •3 years of experience in quality engineering or manufacturing-related roles Required Skills: •Work closely with Design/Manufacturing Engineering to develop and document measurement, inspection, and test methods in support of Control Plans •Support change management and execution of process development experiments •Review PFMEAs and Control Plans and assist with updates and revisions •Assist in the identification and resolution of manufacturing quality issues •Participate in continuous improvement activities with Design/Manufacturing Engineering and external Suppliers •Support Statistical Process Control (SPC) activities and use critical thinking to reduce manufacturing variation •Support non-conforming material control activities Qualifications: •0–3 years of experience in quality engineering or manufacturing-related roles •Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field •Operational familiarity with SPC, PFMEAs, and Control Plans •Aptitude with electronic test and measurement systems •Demonstrated capacity to read and interpret mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams •Structured problem-solving skills (8D) and foundational knowledge of statistical tools including DOE, Process Capability (Cpk, Ppk), etc. •Proficiency with data analysis tools such as JMP, R, Minitab, or equivalent •Demonstrated capacity to manage, synthesize, and interpret data •Demonstrated capacity to work well in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while remaining detail-oriented with strong record-keeping and organizational skills •This role is based at Form Factory 1 in Weirton, WV—an easy commute from the city of Pittsburgh, PA.
