This includes components, sub-assemblies, chassis, purchased materials, and outsourced assemblies •Develop and propose quality control methods, procedures, test fixtures, and evaluating product limitations •Lead and/or assist in Design Validation of new product, or new feature introductions •Provide Quality Metrics Reports and related data analysis for cross-functional teams •Provide Engineering support for Quality Control (QC) technical staff regarding reliability screening, process improvements, and finished goods inspection/testing •Initiate and drive problem solving/8D activities internally or at customers sites in response to performance degradation or product field failure •Assist Engineering/Manufacturing/Supply Chain/Service to resolve quality problems that might be unique to customer applications •Coordinate with supplier management/Supplier QE to ensure selection of components and product application from reliability perspective Qualifications: •Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering (or acceptable related Engineering discipline) •Knowledge of mechanical, electrical testing standards •Excellent written and verbal communication skills •Strong work ethic and willingness to learn •Capable of following strict adherence to detailed specifications •Visual acuity necessary to inspect material and workmanship to published specifications •Demonstrated capacity to operate computer and electronic equipment requiring fine adjustment and data entry •Able to work independently or in a team environment with minimal supervision •Quality Engineering experience in automotive or electromechanical technology industries •Operational familiarity with ISO9001, ITAF 16949: current editions or equivalent standards Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
