Required Skills: •Responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality systems and manufacturing controls that ensure Mesa products and processes consistently meet engineering, customer, regulatory, and quality requirements. •This role works directly with Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Design Engineering, Supply Chain, Service, Reliability, and suppliers to identify quality risks, investigate product and process failures, implement effective corrective actions, and prevent recurrence. •The Quality Engineer serves as a technical quality resource throughout the product lifecycle and manufacturing process. The position requires a strong floor presence and the ability to use data, structured problem-solving, risk analysis, and engineering principles to improve product quality and process capability. •Develop, implement, and maintain inspection plans, Control Plans, acceptance criteria, and quality requirements for new and existing products and manufacturing processes. •Support Process and Manufacturing Engineering with process validation, process controls, manufacturing readiness, risk reduction, and continuous improvement activities. •Lead and support structured root cause analysis and corrective action using methodologies such as 5-Why, Fishbone/Ishikawa, 8D, CAPA, and other appropriate problem-solving tools. •Manage and support product and process nonconformances, including containment, investigation, disposition support, corrective action, and effectiveness verification. •Partner cross-functionally with Process Engineering in the development and maintenance of Process FMEAs (PFMEA), process flow diagrams, Control Plans, and risk-based manufacturing controls. Positions identified as safety-sensitive require initial drug screening as a condition of employment, and employees in those roles may be subject to random testing in accordance with company policy. •If you’re ready to do meaningful work, grow professionally, and be part of a team that’s powering critical industries nationwide, this is your opportunity. •Join Mesa Power Solutions and help us build the future of reliable power. •4 Year / Bachelor’s Degree in Quality, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or another related technical discipline preferred; equivalent relevant manufacturing and quality experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. •Less than 1 year of experience in power generation, engines, heavy equipment, automotive, industrial assembly, fabricated products, electrical/mechanical systems, machining, or other complex manufacturing environments. •2 years of experience supporting supplier quality investigations and corrective actions •4 years of experience in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Quality, Process Engineering, or a related manufacturing environment preferred. •Honorably discharged service veterans are preferred. •ASQ certification or similar professional certifications. •Six Sigma Green Belt or similar professional certifications.
