Required Skills: •The Quality Engineer ensures that products, processes, and systems meet defined standards of quality, reliability, and performance. This role drives continuous improvement, leads root cause investigations, and partners closely with engineering, operations, and suppliers to prevent defects and optimize quality outcomes. •Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes, procedures, and standards. •Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) activities using tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone, and FMEA. •Perform process capability studies, statistical analysis, and data driven decision making to improve product quality. •Partner cross-functionally with design engineering to ensure manufacturability and quality are built into new products (PFMEA, control plans). •Conduct internal and supplier audits to ensure compliance with AS9100 or other relevant standards. •Develop inspection criteria, test methods, and quality documentation. •Support production teams with troubleshooting, training, and continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or related field). •2–5+ years of experience in quality engineering, manufacturing engineering, or process engineering. •Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (SPC, FMEA, MSA, control plans, Lean/Six Sigma). •Proficiency with data analysis tools (Excel, Minitab, JMP, or similar). •Excellent problem solving, communication, and cross functional collaboration skills. •Operational familiarity with GD&T and engineering drawings. •Applied hands-on capability in a manufacturing environment. •Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail. •Demonstrated capacity to lead investigations and influence without authority. •Strong documentation and organizational skills.
