Hiring: Quality Engineer Company: Vulcan Elements Location: Benson, NC Job Posted Time: 2026-09-16 12:34:59 Target Skills & Keywords : R About the job Experience: •3+ years of experience in manufacturing quality, production engineering, or quality systems, with reduced experience requirements for candidates holding advanced degrees (M.S. or Ph.D.) Required Skills: •Pilot Manufacturing Support •Serve as the primary Quality representative for Pilot manufacturing operations. •Support daily production activities by ensuring quality requirements are understood and consistently applied. •Partner with Manufacturing and Engineering to resolve production issues and implement corrective actions. •Lead root cause investigations and drive effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). •Review and disposition nonconforming material in collaboration with Engineering and Operations. •Quality Management System •Develop and maintain quality procedures, work instructions, forms, and records supporting Pilot operations. Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related technical discipline. •Solid functional working knowledge of ISO 9001 principles and Quality Management Systems. •Excellent statistical analysis and problem-solving skills. •Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. •Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities.
