Required Skills: •Reporting to the Quality Leadership, the Quality Control Supervisor is a hands-on, floor-first leader responsible for daily shop-floor quality operations. •This is not a desk job or a corporate policy role •Spend the majority of your day on the plant floor supporting production, guiding operators, and making real-time quality calls. •Lead, mentor, and organize the daily work of a small team of 3 quality inspectors/technicians. •Drive root cause analysis (5-Why, Fishbone, 8D) when quality issues arise and implement practical containment and corrective actions (CAPA). •Ensure incoming, in-process, and final product inspections are properly executed according to inspection plans. •Track defect rates and non-conformities using •To generate simple charts/histograms and identify areas for improvement. Qualifications: •(e.g., automotive, metal fabrication, composite materials, aerospace, or industrial equipment). •(Note: Food manufacturing / FSQA backgrounds are not applicable for this role). •1–3 years of experience in a team lead, senior technician, or supervisor role overseeing a small crew. •Solid experience with practical root-cause techniques (5-Why, 8D, CAPA). •Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel •(ability to log data, create basic charts, histograms, and trend reports). •Highly accessible, visible, pragmatical, and comfortable making crucial quality decisions in a fast-paced plant setting. •Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards or experience with composite materials/plastics is a plus.
