This includes opening cases, checking receiving dates, and proper case rotation in the pick slots. •Interface directly with Warehouse staff to check back stock products on upper- tier racking •Interface directly with Sales and Buying departments to recommend movement of product to Repack Department and/or clearance. •Work closely with Buyers, QA, and Operations to communicate needs and opportunities •Participate in internal and external Quality audits. Assist with third party and customer audits to obtain or maintain certifications. •Report to management on quality and food safety issues and trends Qualifications: •Minimum of one (1) year experience in warehouse shipping and handling, preferred •Intermediate Computer Skills: Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, And PowerPoint. •Inventory Management experience is a plus •Must be able to safely operate all warehouse equipment •A vast knowledge of the fresh produce or perishables industry is needed to be successful in this role. •Must demonstrate excellent written, verbal, and oral presentation skills. •Demonstrated capacity to plan, organize, implement, and follow through on projects. •Demonstrated capacity to perform well under pressure and short deadlines. •Critical thinking, ability to use of logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems. •Adaptability/Flexibility, with the ability to react quickly to changing requirements from internal and external conditions while maintaining good communication with all parties involved.
