Required Skills: •Lead the Quality Assurance function for GBX, overseeing all QA aspects and establishing metrics to ensure quality goals are met. •Act as the key point of contact for QA releases, providing services and coordinating resources. •Work closely with Development and Product teams to deliver high-quality features, ensuring a seamless user experience. •Lead and mentor QA team members, fostering a collaborative and skilled workforce. •Develop and execute comprehensive test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures, both manual and automated. •Utilize defect reporting and tracking tools like JIRA to identify and resolve issues promptly. •Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing clear and concise updates on QA progress and findings. •Stay updated with industry trends and technologies, particularly in front-office trading techniques and performance testing. Qualifications: •Minimum of 7 years of QA/Testing experience, preferably within a global financial firm, demonstrating a strong track record of success. •Excellent test planning skills, including requirements mapping, test design, and troubleshooting. •Proficiency in defect reporting and tracking tools such as JIRA, ensuring efficient issue management. •Strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration and documentation. •A solid understanding of the entire software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment. •Self-motivation and the ability to work independently, driving QA initiatives forward. •Solid functional working knowledge of SQL, with the ability to write and execute complex queries. •Preferred: Knowledge of front-office trading techniques, UNIX/Linux platforms, and performance testing techniques.
