Required Skills: •Primary Responsibilities And Major Tasks •Design and implement quality control processes, sampling systems, procedures, and statistical techniques. •Develop or specify inspection and testing methods, equipment, and mechanisms. •Analyze production capabilities, limitations, and quality standards to improve performance and reliability. •Recommend revisions to specifications, procedures, and quality standards when necessary. •Develop and maintain quality control policies, procedures, and documentation. •Actively facilitate and support financial evaluation and cost-effectiveness of quality control programs when required. •Create sampling procedures, forms, and reporting methods for recording and evaluating quality and reliability data. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. •Minimum of 8 years of experience in a manufacturing or operational quality-related environment. •Demonstrated capacity to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical requirements. •Solid functional working knowledge of API Spec Q1 and ISO 9000 quality standards. •Operational familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and 5S methodologies. •Strong verbal and written communication skills. •Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn additional software systems. •Willingness to work flexible schedules, including overtime and weekends when required. •Knowledge of ABS and DNV requirements for drilling equipment. •Operational familiarity with API 8C, API 6A, and API 16A standards.
