Hiring: QA Analyst Company: Ingram Marine Group Location: Nashville, TN Job Posted Time: 2026-09-17 04:48:07 Target Skills & Keywords : Agile, Quality Assurance About the job Required Skills: •Independently plan and execute functional, integration, system, regression, user acceptance, API, performance, and post-deployment testing as appropriate. •Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, test scripts, test data, expected results, traceability, and supporting QA documentation. •Analyze business requirements, technical specifications, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria for clarity, completeness, and testability. •Identify, document, prioritize, track, and communicate software defects, testing issues, dependencies, and quality risks. •Participate in or facilitate defect triage and collaborate with technical and business resources to support timely resolution. •Coordinate test environments, test data, schedules, dependencies, and business participation for assigned efforts. •Communicate testing status, results, unresolved defects, risks, and release-readiness observations to project stakeholders. •Support release validation, production implementation, and post-deployment verification activities. Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Business, or a related field. An equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be considered. •Three or more years of progressive experience in software quality assurance, software testing, business application testing, or a related technology role. •Quality assurance, software testing, Agile, or test automation certifications are preferred but not required. •Solid knowledge of software quality assurance principles, testing methodologies, processes, and best practices. •Proficiency developing and executing test plans, test cases, test scripts, test data, traceability documentation, and testing reports. •Knowledge of automated testing tools, frameworks, scripting approaches, and continuous integration practices. •Demonstrated capacity to analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios. •Demonstrated capacity to identify quality risks, dependencies, coverage gaps, and process improvement opportunities. •Solid functional working knowledge of relational databases and queries used for data validation and testing.
