Required Skills: •Job Title:PTC Office- Help Desk Analyst •Title 55-a (yes or no):No •Provide technical assistance and support in person, via phone and remotely related to the Positive Train Control computer systems, hardware, and software. Perform field and remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques on the PTC system. •Provide 24/7 monitoring of the PTC Network Management System in collaboration with the PTC System Administration and Engineering team providing active directory support, answering queries, addressing end users and system issues, recording events, problems, and solutions in the PTC database logging system. •Interact with multiple external and internal teams and operating departments to support the investigation of failures and provide feedback to the appropriate stakeholders. Qualifications: •Strong knowledge in Windows Server configuration and deployment skills. •Strong knowledge in Windows Desktop configuration and deployment skills. •Knowledge in VMWARE or comparable virtual deployment. •Strong knowledge in Windows Active Directory Services configuration and deployment skills •Knowledge in Storage Area Network (SAN) configuration and deployment. •Strong analytical skills to analyze new and existing products, equipment and/or procedures. •Strong verbal and written communication skills. •Solid functional working knowledge of Microsoft Office and/or comparable applications. •Must be able to work in a high-profile/high-pressure environment. •Must be able to manage complex multi-discipline projects.
