Hiring: Psychiatry APP at Porter - Denver, CO Company: AdventHealth Location: Denver, CO Job Posted Time: 2026-09-16 14:28:21 Employment Type: Full-time Target Skills & Keywords : HIPAA About the job Required Skills: •The Behavioral Health APP (Psychiatric Physician Assistant or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner), under a physician's collaboration, provides assessment and treatment to patients with psychiatric conditions. •Provides assessment and medication management for patients in the AdventHealth Porter Centre for Behavioral Health. •Assures timely and accurate entries of medical histories, progress notes, and treatment recommendations in the patients' medical records. •Assures all patient management documentation, including pharmaceutical modalities, is outlined in the patient's medical record. •Practices within scope, as delineated by education and training including prescriptive privileges and in accordance with collaborating physician guidelines. •Collaborates with the clinic Medical Assistants. •Refers patients for laboratory, radiology and other specialty care as needed for services that cannot be provided at the practice. •Assures that adequate patient health records and confidentiality are maintained under HIPAA regulations. Qualifications: •Three years of experience in a behavioral health setting. •Licensure, Certification Or Registration Required •Psychiatric Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner •Current Colorado Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license. •Paid Time Off from Day One •Career Development •Mental Health Resources and Support •Master's degree and certification from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
