Hiring: Protective Operations Manager, Global Security Company: S&P Global Location: New York, NY Job Posted Time: 2026-09-13 10:42:42 Target Skills & Keywords : C++ About the job Experience: •10 years of experience in law enforcement, military, or government sectors •Minimum 10 years of experience in law enforcement, military, or government sectors Required Skills: •Working with key partners both within and beyond the Corporation, Global Security & Crisis Management (GS&CM) strives to protect the Corporation's people, assets, brand, and reputation while building an environment that enables successful business interactions through planning, consultation and operational integrity. •This role will require 5 days a week physical presence in the New York, 55 Water Street office. •Provide executive protection services to company leadership during domestic and international travel, ensuring the highest levels of safety and professionalism •Support Global Security & Crisis Management operations by providing security coverage at leadership meetings, business conferences, and incident management when needed •Conduct daily executive calendar reviews and coordinate with staff and leadership to ensure seamless security integration •Lead comprehensive trip planning and logistics including security plan creation, risk assessments, and coordination with key stakeholders for executive travel, events and off-site events •Maintain security documentation and protocols including Risk Registers, Internal Threat Databases, and Standard Operating Procedures for all protection activities •Assist the Building Operations and Investigation functions as needed to support broader security objectives Qualifications: •Professional security certifications such as ASIS membership with PSP, CPP, or specialized executive protection training credentials •Aviation security experience including familiarity with private aviation, fixed base operations (FBOs), and airport security protocols •International operations experience with demonstrable experience working abroad and ability to interact effectively across diverse cultures •Specialized tactical training including defensive driving tactics and emergency response certifications •Attention to detail and ability to think clearly during fluid events while maintaining the highest level of client confidentiality and integrity •Keen sense of personal ownership and accountability with proven track record of reliability in high-stakes environments •This role is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States. •We're more than 35,000 strong worldwide—so we're able to understand nuances while having a broad perspective.
