Required Skills: •We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of an approximately 200-unit affordable housing community in Brooklyn, NY. •This is a highly visible, hands-on management position requiring strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. •Oversee the daily operations of an approximately 200unit residential property. •Supervise, schedule, and provide direction to onsite maintenance, porter, , and other property staff. •Conduct regular property inspections and ensure buildings, grounds, common areas, and apartments are maintained in a clean, safe, and attractive condition. •Coordinate work orders, apartment turnovers, preventative maintenance, repairs, and emergency response. •Manage relationships with contractors, vendors, service providers, and building personnel. •Monitor building systems and coordinate necessary repairs and capital improvements. Qualifications: •Solid functional working knowledge of HUD housing programs and affordable housing compliance requirements. •In-depth knowledge of building operations, maintenance coordination, vendor management, and resident relations. •Previous experience supervising onsite property staff. •Strong written and verbal communication skills. •Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. •Demonstrated capacity to prioritize multiple deadlines and operate effectively in a fastpaced environment. •Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel. •The successful candidate is a hands-on property management professional who understands that affordable housing requires both excellent resident service and has strong experience with NSPIRE. •You should be comfortable walking the properties, meeting with residents, reviewing tenant files, working with maintenance staff, communicating with vendors, and monitoring financial performance. •Strong candidates will demonstrate sound judgment, professionalism, accountability, and the ability to build productive relationships with residents, staff, vendors, and ownership.
