Hiring: Projects, Energy, Environment & Resources - Associate Attorney – Midlevel Company: Ashurst Perkins Coie Location: Anchorage, AK Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 11:51:08 Target Skills & Keywords : RTOS About the job Experience: •3-6 years of experience in energy law, preferably with a mix of regulatory and transactional experience •6 years of experience in energy law, preferably with a mix of regulatory and transactional experience Required Skills: •: negotiate sophisticated power purchase agreements and custom energy service agreements on behalf of developers, utilities and corporate buyers (including some of the world’s largest technology companies and data center developers). •Market Design & RTO/ISOs •: advise on complex electric market design issues within RTOs/ISOs (with a particular emphasis on PJM, MISO, SPP, ERCOT and CAISO), including capacity market mechanisms, large load and generator interconnection policies, and market participation. •: represent clients in high-stakes proceedings before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and advise on compliance with respect to market-based rate programs, qualifying facilities and exempt wholesale generators, interlocks, etc. •: counsel clients on emerging energy policy, renewable energy integration, and carbon-free energy procurement strategies.
