Proven track record of developing new business and negotiating profitable project awards in the Puget Sound region is required •Minimum 15 years of experience specifically in private-sector land development, including at least 5 years leading projects involving platting, commercial site development, and multifamily or mixed-use work. Proven track record of developing new business and negotiating profitable project awards in the Puget Sound region is required Required Skills: •Lead and manage land development projects from conception to completion, including site planning, design, permitting, and construction administration. •Partner cross-functionally with clients, architects, planners, regulatory agencies, and internal team members to develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules. •Conduct site feasibility studies, including land use analysis, zoning reviews, and environmental assessments. •Prepare and review engineering design calculations, plans, and specifications for site grading, utilities, stormwater management, and erosion control. •Obtain necessary permits and approvals from regulatory agencies, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. •Coordinate and oversee the work of design consultants, contractors, and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle. •Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure projects are delivered within scope and budget constraints. •Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress, quality, and compliance with design specifications. Qualifications: •Registered Engineer in the State of Washington •Active Industry BD Association Membership(s) desired •Focused on public infrastructure, K-12, or park-based civil projects. Experience in those areas is valuable, but candidates must demonstrate leadership in private development projects to be considered.
