Hiring: Project Manager, Energy & Infrastructure Company: ARCO/Murray Location: Downers Grove, IL Job Posted Time: 2026-09-16 13:11:17 Target Skills & Keywords : Microsoft Excel, Project Management About the job Experience: •2-5 years of construction management and/or engineering design experience •5 years of construction management and/or engineering design experience Required Skills: •Provide project management for the full life cycle of power, BESS, utility, and related infrastructure projects, from preconstruction through closeout. •Take ownership of the managerial and administrative aspects of each project, including estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reporting, progress billing, design review and coordination, cost reporting, safety, and proposal preparation. •Work closely with owners, engineers, designers, utilities, equipment vendors, and trade partners to define project scope, establish goals, and develop executable plans. •Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, procurement plans, cost forecasts, and project controls; identify variances and take corrective action when needed. •Participate in proposal and estimate reviews with owners, including scope alignment, value engineering, constructability, and cost-reduction opportunities. •Lead the buyout process and support the selection, contracting, and management of subcontractors and suppliers. •Coordinate long-lead equipment, utility interfaces, permitting requirements, design deliverables, and field activities to protect project milestones. •Establish project objectives, procedures, and performance standards while leading multidisciplinary teams through design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and turnover.
