Required Skills: •Own the engineering scope on assigned projects: design reviews (30/60/90/IFC), RFIs and submittals, technical clarifications, and change assessment. •Manage multiple Engineers of Record and consultants across civil, structural, electrical, SCADA, and geotechnical disciplines. Review deliverables and drive resolution when they're wrong. •Translate utility, ISO, AHJ, offtaker, and investor requirements into project specifications and design criteria. •Support equipment procurement: technical bid evaluation, OEM datasheet and test report review, deviation assessment, warranty input. •Act as the technical counterpart to the EPC alongside the project manager; support independent engineer and investor due diligence. •Oversee commissioning readiness from the owner's side and feed field lessons back into design standards. •What you bring •Bachelor's in electrical engineering strongly preferred; other engineering disciplines considered with relevant project experience. PE or EIT a plus. •5–8 years in utility-scale power or renewable energy projects, with meaningful time on the owner's side or as an EPC project engineer. •Demonstrated experience managing external engineers and EORs. •Involvement from the design phase of projects — not only construction or commissioning. •Working knowledge of MV/HV systems, interconnection, and relevant codes (NEC, IEEE, NFPA 855, UL 9540). Battery storage and PCS experience is a plus, not a gate — strong engineers from solar, wind, or other large capital projects are welcome. •Comfort operating in a lean environment without a large support structure. •Clear, concise communicator comfortable as the single point of contact between engineers, contractors, and leadership.
