The POS 1 will work to ensure excellent quality in SPS operational standards. Occasional evening and/or weekend work may be required to meet organizational needs. Occasional travel may be required. •Perform professional, administrative, and technical duties to promote the planning, development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of programs and services for individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. •Serve as a data management specialist •Be responsible for partnering with SPS Leadership and other divisions for data collection and reporting •Communicate with SPS leadership using a variety of data-driven tools and work with staff on effective tool use •Support knowledge transfer of data analysis skills, tools and software with unit staff located in the Regional Field Office 3 to expand data knowledge. Function as a resource for development plan reports •Review division activities to proactively identify areas where data can help identify division goals and objectives and/or assess progress and performance of division activities •Monitor and maintain storage of records associated with the SPS? Qualifications: •A bachelor’s degree in a human services field. •Candidates must be reachable for appointment on the current Civil Service Eligible List or the Professional Career Opportunities (PCO) Eligible List for this title. •A Juris Doctor, master's or higher degree in a related field can substitute for one year of specialized experience. •Candidates must have one year of permanent competitive or 55-b/c status in the posted title and be eligible for lateral transfer; OR be eligible to transfer via Section 70.1, 70.4, or 52.6 of Civil Service Law.
