Required Skills: •Administers the entity’s Patient Safety Evaluation System (PSES) for the purpose of collecting, managing, analyzing and protecting Patient Safety Work Product (PSWP). •Conducts patient safety investigations including Root Cause Analysis and Event Debriefs to identify opportunities for improvement. •Manages the entity’s Incident Reporting System. •Collaborates with legal counsel to identify and report potential risks, assessing probability for legal action. •Supports or leads infection prevention practices as part of the healthcare associated infections reduction process. •Leads and/or Participates in select committees as assigned. •Leads or Assists the Patient Advocate and other leaders in the resolution of patient complaints and grievances. •Participates as the lead for the entity in The Guthrie Clinic Patient Safety Organization functions. Qualifications: •Associates required, Bachelors preferred; RN or 5 years clinical experience required; CPPS preferred or must be achieved within 2 years.
