Required Skills: •Design, develop, and implement comprehensive training programs for Public Safety personnel. Oversee system-wide training initiatives, including the Essentials of Aggression Management program. •Ensure training programs encompass key areas such as emergency response, fire safety, workplace violence prevention, patient handling, and aggression management. •Customize training content to meet the operational needs of various Valley Health entities and evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics, implementing improvements as needed. •Prepare and deliver professional reports to the Director and senior leadership on program status, outcomes, and future training needs, while providing candid, constructive feedback on training effectiveness and workforce readiness. •Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of training deficiencies and identified gaps. •Aggression Management Program Oversight •Manage the implementation and ongoing administration of the Gracie Medical Defense (aggression management) program. •Select, train, and evaluate program instructors. Qualifications: •High school diploma or equivalent required. •Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Public Safety, Emergency Management, or related field preferred. •Knowledge of Public Safety practices, emergency response, and workplace violence prevention. •Solid functional working knowledge of hospital safety, fire safety, and regulatory requirements preferred. •Strong instructional, presentation, and facilitation skills. •Demonstrated capacity to develop training materials and evaluate program effectiveness. •Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills with attention to detail. •Demonstrated capacity to collaborate effectively with leadership and interdisciplinary teams. •Proficiency in Microsoft Office and training tracking systems.
