Required Skills: •We are a forward-thinking electric utility powered by a diverse team of employees committed to making customers’ lives brighter, the environment better and our communities stronger. •This is an open position with the FirstEnergy Service Company, a subsidiary of FirstEnergy Corp. •The Program Management Office (PMO) within Program Delivery oversees a five-year portfolio exceeding two billion dollars in Distribution regulatory and program expenditures. The team ensures accurate tracking and reporting of scope, schedule, budget, and reliability benefits across multiple programs, with potential for further expansion. •The PMO seeks a business analyst to enhance program reporting, identify risks, and monitor initiative progress to help drive accountability and collaboration. •The preferred reporting location is FirstEnergy Headquarters in Akron, Ohio. Other locations within the company's service territory will be considered. •Developing weekly workstream and monthly leadership reports •Monitoring and reporting progress against program plans and providing presentations to leadership and other ad-hoc data requests •Collaborating with Program Managers, Engineering, Construction and Reliability groups to continue to evolve reporting to identify areas for improvement and measure success Qualifications: •Two-to-four-year degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering or related discipline and minimum 7 years’ related work experience is required. •In lieu of a degree, minimum 10 years’ related work experience is required. Relevant work experience includes financial forecasting & analysis, cost flow oversight, expense verification & correction, project management controls, strategic financial planning, or portfolio management. •Proven experience in program management for measuring success. Strong understanding of project management skills and risk identification. •Possess strong computer skills in the Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word), PowerBI/Toad, CREWS, P6, Oracle Primavera Portfolio Management skills are a plus. •Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interpret and communicate data. •Strong analytical, decision making, planning, and problem-solving skills are necessary •In-depth knowledge of process improvement and reengineering techniques is preferred •Able to effectively present complex subject matter to all levels of management •Be a team player and possess a willingness to collaborate in a team environment and work effectively as a partner across all FE business units. •Possessing high level of attention to detail Compensation: •$79,500 - $103,500 / year Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
