Hiring: Production Planner Company: Waupaca Foundry Location: Waupaca, WI Job Posted Time: 2026-09-11 11:52:28 Target Skills & Keywords : Assembly, Foundry, SAP About the job Required Skills: •Draws up master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders. •Analyzes production specifications and plant capacity data and performs mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and human resource requirements. •Plans and schedules workflow for each department and operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times. •Plans sequence of fabrication, assembly, installation, and other manufacturing operations for guidance of production workers. •Confers with department supervisors to determine status of assigned projects. •Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions. •Communicates effectively with customers and suppliers concerning product and component status. •Prepares timely production reports, lists of required materials, tools, and equipment. Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. •Able to set expectations with follow-up to see that they are being met. •Demonstrated capacity to work in a team environment. •Demonstrated capacity to adapt to a flexible work schedule. •Demonstrated capacity to work without supervision.
