Hiring: Production Planner Company: AMVAC U.S. Location: Axis, AL Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 13:26:35 Employment Type: On-site Target Skills & Keywords : Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office About the job Experience: •3+ years of previous planning, scheduling, or manufacturing experience Required Skills: •Develop, maintain and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on customer demand, sales forecasts, and plant capacity assumptions •Utilize MRP / ERP systems to plan material requirements, production orders, and inventory levels •Coordinate with Supply Chain and Procurement to align material availability with production plans and identify potential downtime risks •Communicate production plans, changes, and identified constraints to relevant stakeholders •Monitor production schedules and recommend adjustments based on equipment availability, labor constraints, supply disruptions, or demand changes •Partner cross-functionally with Procurement and Supply Chain to analyze material shortages, escalate risks, and support prioritization of critical items •Support inventory control activities, including cycle counts, physical inventories, and reconciliation of production variances •Perform planning activities in accordance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and safety standards Qualifications: •Prior experience coordinating materials, inventory, or production schedules •Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, experience with other MS Office tools required •Solid functional working knowledge of MRP / ERP planning systems •Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills •Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to work cross-functionally •High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities •Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced manufacturing environment •Demonstrated capacity to work independently and as part of a team •Must be able to pass a physical and drug test •Must be able to pass pre-employment criminal background check Compensation: •Health insurance including Medical, Dental, Vision, (PPO) with low out-of-pocket employee costs Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
