Required Skills: •Your Work Shapes the World at Caterpillar Inc. •Lead and direct day-to-day production activities, assign work based on business priorities and support the team in meeting safety, quality and production goals. •Lead, coach and develop production employees by setting expectations, providing feedback, addressing performance and attendance concerns and supporting employee growth and development. •Champion a safety-first culture by reinforcing safe work practices, identifying and addressing risks and ensuring compliance with established safety standards. •Monitor production performance, staffing needs, capacity and workflow to effectively support changing production demands and project requirements. •Partner cross-functionally with project management, engineering, manufacturing engineering and other cross-functional partners to support project execution, resolve production challenges and communicate progress. •Analyze production metrics, operational data and team performance to identify trends, remove barriers and drive informed decision-making. •Maintain documentation related to operating procedures, production processes, safety requirements and quality standards. Qualifications: •Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and develop employees in a manufacturing, production or operations environment. •Demonstrated capacity to promote and reinforce a safety-first culture while ensuring adherence to established safety and quality standards. •Demonstrated capacity to communicate effectively with both production employees and professional stakeholders across multiple functions. •What Will Put You Ahead •Bachelor's degree or higher in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related field. •This position operates on a 4-day, 10-hour schedule (Monday–Thursday), with required overtime on select Fridays, weekends and holidays based on business needs •Travel up to 5% is possible. •Relocation is not available for this position.
