Required Skills: •Lead the production planning, execution, and delivery of software-based builds for the AN/BYG-1 system, coordinating across engineering, integration, and test teams. •Oversee all baseline management, software configuration control, and version release processes in accordance with Navy and industry standards. •Drive systems engineering processes, including traceability of requirements, interface definitions, and architecture compliance. •Actively facilitate and support full lifecycle of AN/BYG-1, including initial production, deployment, upgrades, and long-term sustainment. •Partner cross-functionally with stakeholders to define, develop, and verify system requirements; ensure test and validation plans meet operational and technical goals. •Ensure production schedules align with Navy deployment needs, managing risk and mitigating production delays or cost overruns. •Facilitate regular reviews and readiness assessments for production milestones, configuration audits, and system validation events. •Maintain close coordination with Navy customers, prime contractors, and engineering support teams. Qualifications: •Minimum of 15 years of experience delivering production-level software-based systems in a defense, aerospace, or naval environment. •Deep expertise in systems engineering, including requirements development, system design, integration, and validation. •Demonstrated proficiency in baseline and configuration management processes, including the use of tools such as CMPro, ClearCase, or equivalent. •In-depth knowledge of DoD software development and delivery standards, including CMMI, Agile/Iterative approaches, and MIL-STD documentation. •Prior experience with the AN/BYG-1 system or similar undersea warfare systems (e.g., APB/ARCI, CCS, etc.). •Operational familiarity with NAVSEA, PEO SUBS, and associated Navy acquisition and certification processes. •Solid functional working knowledge of automated build systems, integration labs, and configuration release workflows in classified environments. •Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field; advanced degree preferred. •Demonstrated capacity to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. •This position is contingent upon contract award Compensation: •$90,000 - $125,000 / year Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
