Required Skills: •The Production Lead position oversees and manages the daily operations of the seafood processing line, including coordinating and assigning tasks to the processing team, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and maintaining productivity levels. •Receives and answers questions from workers pertaining to production processes or equipment operation. •Monitors and enforce quality control standards to ensure that seafood products meet regulatory requirements and customer expectations. •Monitors and expedites flow of materials within production area and makes adjustments when necessary. •Maintains effective communication channels with other departments including maintenance to ensure smooth coordination and timely resolution of any operational issues. •Tends or operates machines or equipment as needed or performs activities of workers supervised. •Provides training and guidance to the processing team on proper seafood handling techniques, safety procedures, and quality control measures. •Fosters a culture of continuous learning and development among the team members. Qualifications: •Not required for this position •A minimum of 2 years of production experience is required. •HS Diploma or GED •Food Manufacturing or Food Production experience •Employees regularly bend or lean at waist level.
