Required Skills: •Contribute to accident-free operations and comply with all health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements and regulations. •Assist the extrusion operator in producing quality products based on product specifications. •Monitor and perform quality checks to ensure product color, surface, size, and other attributes meet standards before packaging. •Properly place pallets and perform packaging techniques for finished materials as directed. •Move materials to designated areas as needed. •Assist extrusion operators with machine cleaning functions when necessary. •Communicate daily issues and pertinent information to production assistants, assistant operators, operators, and team leaders. •Follow all plant safety procedures to ensure personal safety and the safety of others. Qualifications: •Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment. •Demonstrated capacity to read, write, and understand the English language. •Basic math proficiency (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, including whole numbers and fractions). •Demonstrated capacity to follow written and verbal instructions. •Demonstrated capacity to read gauges and similar measuring devices. •Must know how to read a ruler. •High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. •Interview tip: Must know how to read a ruler* •The AZEK Company is strictly following all CDC guidelines on workplace disinfecting and sanitation, as well as state-mandated PPE practices.
