Required Skills: •With specific parts ownership, this role will drive producibility into the design process, ensure source selection includes considerations for manufacturing such as, quality, cost and delivery performance •Leverage the lessons learned from production programs to ensure that assigned parts and programs are incorporating those to help with improved quality, cost and delivery signatures •Provide focused & effective leadership in the advancement of MRL elements to drive manufacturing risk identification and mitigation to achieve superior quality performance •As a key member of the Integrated Product Team (IPT), significant interaction with product designers, tool designers, quality assurance, systems designers, and other stakeholders is required •The discipline and follow-through to fully document problem statements, observations, conclusions, calculations and recommendations •Schedule and facilitate periodic project reviews and ensure validation of MRL gate advancements. Use effective scorecards and metrics to ensure progress. •Represent the organization in various forums related to MRL execution. •Demonstrated technical proficiency in complex manufacturing activities. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in engineering (manufacturing, industrial, mechanical) or related technical field and 7 years of experience in a manufacturing operations environment or Masters degree and 5 years advanced degree. •Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification. •7 years of experience in a manufacturing operations environment or Masters degree and 5 years advanced degree.
