Required Skills: •Own the roadmap for your product area within MeridianLink Mortgage, from discovery through delivery and iteration. •Lead continuous discovery through customer interviews, usage analytics, and collaboration with financial institution partners to identify high-value problems worth solving. •Write crisp, well-reasoned PRDs and user stories that give engineering teams the clarity they need to build with confidence. •Drive agile delivery ceremonies and maintain a healthy, well-prioritized backlog aligned to team OKRs. •Define and monitor product KPIs for your area, using data to inform prioritization and demonstrate business impact. •Work closely with fellow PMs on the Mortgage team to ensure coherence across product areas and alignment on platform-level decisions. •Partner with Engineering, UX, Sales, Customer Success, and Compliance to drive alignment and unblock delivery. •Serve as the product expert for your domain — representing customer needs internally and translating them into clear requirements. Qualifications: •Identify opportunities to incorporate modern capabilities — such as AI/ML-assisted decisioning, intelligent automation, and API extensibility — into your product area. •Stay current on mortgage lending trends, fintech competitive dynamics, and regulatory developments (CFPB, TILA, ECOA, fair lending) relevant to your domain. •Champion thoughtful UX and API-first design patterns that keep MeridianLink Mortgage competitive with emerging fintech challengers. •Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of relevant product management experience. •Demonstrated success in owning a product area end-to-end — discovery, definition, delivery, and iteration. •Strong command of agile methodologies and modern product discovery practices. •Analytical mindset — comfortable using data and product analytics tools to drive decisions and measure outcomes. •Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to simplify complexity and align diverse stakeholders. •Deep customer empathy — you've invested real time understanding users and translated those insights into shipped improvements. •Domain experience in mortgage lending, loan origination systems (LOS), or financial institution software.
