Required Skills: •Own the Account Verification strategy and roadmap, from long-term vision to near-term priorities, grounded in customer and business outcomes. •Reimagine the Auth experience to unlock new use cases (recurring payments, e-commerce, account funding) through modern, flexible verification flows. •Expand verification capabilities across a growing set of methodologies: open banking, database auth, microdeposits, and beyond. •Drive self-serve, experimentation, and orchestration tools that empower developers and operators to configure and optimize verification paths without code. •Partner across Plaid to create cohesive experiences across account setup, risk management, and money movement. •Represent Plaid internally and externally as a product thought leader, shaping how customers, partners, and the industry view account verification. •Operate like an owner. Move quickly, make bold decisions, and bring creative energy to scaling one of Plaid’s most essential products. Qualifications: •Proven success building and scaling products, ideally in fintech or payments. •Strong mix of strategic vision and executional drive; able to see the big picture while sweating the details. •Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and business audiences. •Demonstrated ability to thrive in ambiguous, high-growth environments and lead with conviction. •Track record of cross-functional impact, influencing design, engineering, and GTM teams to deliver results. •Hands-on comfort with data and AI tools for writing, analysis, prototyping, and experimentation.
