Hiring: Product Engineer II - Industrial Solutions Aftermarket & Service (Filters) Company: Donaldson Location: Bloomington, MN Job Posted Time: 2026-09-12 11:31:25 Employment Type: Remote Target Skills & Keywords : AutoCAD, CAD, CPT, Product Lifecycle Management About the job Required Skills: •Partner cross-functionally with internal teams, suppliers, and manufacturing partners to support new product development, product launches, and ongoing product enhancements. •Evaluate product samples, conduct laboratory testing, and analyze performance data to verify media and product quality, compliance, and adherence to engineering requirements. •Serve as a technical liaison between manufacturing, suppliers, engineering, quality, field service, and purchasing teams to resolve product issues, support complaint investigations, and drive continuous improvement. •Provide technical expertise on filtration products, industry standards, applications, performance, and corrective actions across the organization. •Partner with Purchasing and Supply Chain teams to assess current and prospective suppliers, helping optimize product quality, coverage, cost competitiveness, and supplier performance. •Manage engineering documentation activities, including creating and maintaining engineering drawings, bills of materials, engineering change requests (ECRs), and technical specifications to support the aftermarket product portfolio. •Support projects related to product lifecycle management of replacement parts and filters, competitive analysis, and new product releases. •Demonstrated capacity to communicate well with all levels of personnel in both internal and external business relationships Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field •Minimum three years’ experience in a technical role in Engineering or related field •Product engineering or CAD design experience Compensation: •$76,400 - $105,050 / year •Flexible work environment (work from home / hybrid options) •Competitive benefits and rewards package Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
