Required Skills: •The ideal candidate will have experience developing closure systems from early development through product launch, along with experience writing technical specifications and engineering documentation. •Develop and release technical requirements and engineering strategies for rear closure systems. •Support all aspects of rear closures, including liftgates, tailgates, cargo doors, swing gates, hinges, latches, mechanisms, and system integration. •Develop technical documentation, including DVP&R, DFMEA, technical requirements, and technical strategies. •Draft and publish technical specifications and requirements using atomic statements aligned with customer use cases and test conditions. •Develop DVP-related documentation and DFMEA documentation from scratch. •Develop products from early development through product launch. •Use 3D modeling tools to open, view, measure, and cut basic sections in Vis and CATIA V5. Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree. •Understanding of basic principles of statics and dynamics. •Demonstrated capacity to develop and/or complete Free Body Diagrams for moving systems. •Direct experience with closure systems such as tailgates, liftgates, swing gates, side doors, cargo doors, or moveable roof systems.
