Required Skills: •Join the team at Prescott’s, Inc. — where quality meets care. •The location for this position is Monument, CO. •Own total company procurement spend across direct materials (service parts, components, subassemblies and consumables) and indirect categories (freight and logistics, outsourced repair and calibration, MRO, facilities, IT, and capital equipment). •Develop and execute category strategies — including make, buy, repair, and harvest decisions — that reduce total cost of ownership while protecting equipment uptime and service commitments to customers. •Build the annual procurement plan and savings pipeline; report realized savings, cost avoidance, purchase price variance, and supplier performance to leadership on a defined cadence. •Set service parts stocking strategy — critical parts lists, min/max levels, safety stock, and reorder points — to meet published repair turnaround time (TAT) and first-time-fix targets across depot and field service. •Manage part obsolescence and end-of-life risk on legacy and discontinued platforms, including last-time-buy decisions, alternate source qualification, and harvesting of usable components from decommissioned units. •Partner with Service Operations on demand planning and forecasting driven by installed base, preventive maintenance schedules, service contract commitments, and historical failure rates. Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Operations or a related field required. An additional four years of directly applicable procurement experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. •8–12 years of progressive procurement, purchasing, planning, or strategic sourcing experience, including at least 3 years directly managing people. •Direct experience with service parts, aftermarket, depot repair, or field service supply chains — including obsolescence management, last-time buys, repairable cores, and exchange programs is strongly preferred •Demonstrated ownership of both direct and indirect spend, with a documented record of savings and cost avoidance. •Solid functional working knowledge of purchasing controls under ISO 13485 and FDA 21 CFR Part 820, supplier qualification and monitoring, quality agreements, SCARs, and audit support. •Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing cost-effective supplier agreements. •Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in ERP and data management tools; advanced Excel required, and experience with NetSuite, SAP, Epicor, or a comparable system preferred. •Operational familiarity with inventory planning concepts — safety stock, reorder points, turns, fill rate, and E&O reserves. •Strong leadership, team management, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with service operations, sales, engineering, quality, and finance. •Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills, and the ability to handle internal and customer inquiries professionally.
