Required Skills: •The supports process engineering and production operations by improving safety, quality, efficiency, and overall manufacturing performance. This role partners with engineering and operations teams to troubleshoot production issues, support continuous-improvement efforts, and help maintain effective communication across manufacturing work areas. •Investigate and support process-improvement opportunities focused on increasing efficiency, reducing waste, and lowering defect rates. •Provide engineering and technical support to manufacturing work centers as needed. •Collect and maintain information related to equipment maintenance, equipment history, production capacity, and process-improvement initiatives. •Assist in developing and evaluating manufacturing methods, labor-utilization standards, and cost and scrap-analysis systems. •Participate in lean manufacturing activities and improvement events, helping implement changes and ensure improvements are sustained. •Support quality-control objectives and corrective actions to resolve production concerns, improve product reliability, and reduce operating costs. •Partner cross-functionally with cross-functional teams on Kaizen initiatives, including identifying opportunities, implementing solutions, tracking progress, and reporting results. Qualifications: •Associate degree, bachelor’s degree, relevant coursework in an engineering or technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. •Self-directed, motivated professional with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. •Solid functional working knowledge of manufacturing processes, production techniques, CAD software, and blueprint reading. •Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. •Comfortable using computers and standard office software in a manufacturing environment.
