Hiring: Process & Quality Engineer Company: Storyteller Overland Location: Birmingham, AL Job Posted Time: 2026-09-15 12:57:24 Target Skills & Keywords : Assembly, Change Management, Lean Manufacturing, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, Microsoft PowerPoint, Quality Assurance, R, Root Cause Analysis, Six Sigma About the job Experience: •4+ years of engineering experience •4+ years of manufacturing/process engineering Required Skills: •Evaluate production processes, equipment, and safety practices to identify risks and recommend improvements that enhance safety, quality, and operational performance. •Develop, maintain, and continuously improve standardized work instructions, process documentation, and manufacturing procedures. •Lead and support engineering change management activities to ensure timely and effective implementation of process and product changes. •Identify opportunities for assembly aids, tooling, fixtures, and ergonomic improvements that increase productivity while reducing variation and operator fatigue. •Partner with Product Development and R&D to support design validation, manufacturability, and successful new product introductions. •Contribute to the design, development, and continuous improvement of production training programs and standardized work. •Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, Quality, Safety, Customer Experience, and other business partners to resolve manufacturing challenges and improve overall operational performance. •Conduct time studies, cycle time analysis, line balancing, and workflow assessments to identify bottlenecks and increase throughput.
