Hiring: Process Engineer Company: Modern Mill Location: McComb, MS Job Posted Time: 2026-09-17 02:08:25 Target Skills & Keywords : AutoCAD, CAD, Kanban, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, SolidWorks About the job Experience: •Plastics or Extrusion Experience a plus •3 years of lean, Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, and Kanban preferred •Prolong standing or in stationary position •Be exposed to sounds or noise levels that may be uncomfortable •Wear all required personal protective equipment Required Skills: •Use Statistical Process Control in the continuous improvement effort •Assist in troubleshooting and solve problems of large systems and processes •Monitor manufacturing variances so that problem solving and improvement opportunities are identified •Provide timely resolution of product, process and equipment problems in the form of creative short- and long-term solutions •Assist in development, testing and improving manufacturing processes for new and existing products that optimize operation, reduce product variability, and increase yields •Develop machine specifications, identify, and evaluate suppliers, then procure, install and de-bug equipment from outside suppliers for general manufacturing and secondary processes •Comply with Modern Mill safety policies and procedures •Regular attendance, timeliness, and scheduling flexibility Qualifications: •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills •Strong initiative, self-directed and takes action on opportunities •Problem-solving ability, good documentation skills, and preferred manufacturing practices •Demonstrated knowledge of CAD, Solidworks •Engineering Degree.
