Develops, designs, proposals, schedules and cost estimates for assigned projects. •Evaluates progress and results of engineering activity and recommends changes in procedures of assigned projects. •Maintains liaison with individuals and units (internally and externally) to facilitate the completion of assigned projects. •Manages the estimation of human and other resources needs a·nd schedules work to meet completion dates and technical specifications. •This position supervises ARASA & BRS Signal Department personnel and works with time clerks to approve time cards. The mark-out program for the Signal Department, which personnel must be assigned in connection with NJ One Call. •Six years of applied engineering experience, to include project management experience. Railroad experience in taking track, foul time, and understanding of the railroad environment is a must.
