Hiring: Principal Insights Analyst - Central Product Insights Company: Riot Games Location: Los Angeles, CA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-16 12:31:21 Target Skills & Keywords : Data Warehouse, Machine Learning, Product Strategy, PySpark, Python, SQL About the job Experience: •2+ years experience applying analytics to games or other live-service products Required Skills: •Tackle complex & impactful game analytics problems across the Riot Games portfolio including foundational cross-game analytics, product health deep dives, and investigations into multi-game player behaviors and patterns •Contribute to the development and refinement of analytics tools, dashboards, and datasets that support portfolio decision-making, in partnership with senior stakeholders •Mentor and develop game analysts on CPI •Interface directly with central and game teams to drive consistency and efficiency in key reports •Partner closely with Data Engineering to productionalize central analytics tables and pulls •Model and mentor best practices in analytics craft, supporting the growth of fellow analysts and elevating overall analytical quality across the team and insights organization •Proactively identify player and business opportunities through deep analytical and strategic thinking •Safeguarding confidential and sensitive Company data Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Physics, Mathematics or a related discipline plus at least 8 years of relevant experience (an advanced degree can account for up to 2 years of experience) •Strong analytical skills across the entire stack (Tableau, SQL, Python/Pyspark) •Operational familiarity with game design/direction and product strategy •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills along with the strong ability to collaborate effectively at all levels and departments of the organization. •Able to work independently and lead projects which require coordinating multi-party worksteams •Demonstrated capacity to own and drive workstreams collaboratively with cross functional partners across game design, engineering, data engineering, and product •Advanced degree in Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Management Information Systems, a related discipline, or comparable work experiences •8 years of relevant experience (an advanced degree can account for up to 2 years of experience) •At least 8 years of relevant experience (an advanced degree can account for up to 2 years of experience) Compensation: •Riot focuses on work/life balance, shown by our open paid time off policy and other perks such as flexible work schedules Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
