Hiring: Principal Engineer, Product Compliance Company: Bloom Energy Location: San Jose, CA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 13:35:23 Employment Type: Contract / On-site Target Skills & Keywords : Project Management, Root Cause Analysis About the job Experience: •10+ years of compliance engineering experience Required Skills: •Coordinating agency compliance projects for ANSI/CSA FC1, UL 1741, IEC 62282 series and/or other relevant requirements for the solid oxide fuel cells both domestic and international. •Coordinating agency compliance projects for other Bloom Energy owned Agency projects, both domestic and international. •Interface directly with Applications Engineering on compliance issues related to installations, both domestic and international. •Interface directly with domestic and international utilities, inspection authorities, and other government agencies to negotiate market acceptance of Bloom Energy products. •Prepare documentation for Agency engineering projects. •Maintain a library of technical decisions between Bloom Energy and Agency. •Work jointly with engineering staff to ensure that items related to compliance are driven to closure on-time •Train regional Contract Manufacturers on UL Follow Up Services (FUS) requirements, and if necessary, conduct root cause analysis of Variation Notice, implement corrective actions and implement preventative action processes.
